I wrote "White Haze" this past winter while processing through a lot of old trauma. After spending many years feeling defined by the things that have happened to me in a way that left me feeling limited and broken, I've recently been able to step into a place of power. I no longer feel controlled by trauma, even though it still affects me. This song belongs to all survivors of abuse, especially those who were abused by someone who was supposed to be a caretaker.

With this song, I incant a world in which everyone is cared for and all cycles of abuse are broken.
